Junior Olympic Team Coach
Coach Shea is currently pursuing her Master in Business Administration at Florida State University and graduating May 2017. As a native of Safety Harbor, Florida, she swam for the Suncoast Waterworks Synchronized Swimming Team in Largo, Florida. Her highest accomplishments include placing second in her duet and placing fourth individually in figures at the 2012 Age Group Nationals. After competing for eight years, she began coaching for the Serinas in 2012 and has been coaching for five years now. In addition, she also swam on Calvary Christian High School’s speed swimming team for four years. Coach Shea is the Head Coach and coaches the Junior Olympic Team.

Intermediate Team Coach
Karen attended Florida State University and swam for the FSU Tarpon Synchronized Swimming Club. She then went on to found the Tallahassee Serinas Synchronized Swimming Team in 1977. Over the years, Karen has coached athletes to finals at Age Group Nationals, to finals at Zone championships, and to the US National Team.
Novice Team Coach
Coach Kelsey is a Tallahassee native and swam with the Serinas for nine years! She also swam on the Florida High speed swimming team. She is a junior at Florida State University this year, and this is her fourth year coaching for the Serinas. Coach Kelsey coaches the Novice Team and looks forward to meeting all of the new swimmers and opening their eyes and hearts to the world of synchronized swimming!
Coach in Training
Coach Hali is from Lakeland, Florida and swam for the Lakeland YMCA Flamingos for ten years. During her time at McKeel Academy, Hali was also the dance team captain for three years. Currently, Coach Hali is a freshman studying athletic training at Florida State University. Right now, Coach Hali is training to be able to coach her own team next season.
